Stop Skype from starting automatically on Mac

Skype is software that enables the world’s conversations. Millions of people use Skype to make free video and voice calls, send instant messages and share files with other Skype users.

Although Skype for Mac is an excellent tool for communication, it will effect the speed of the computer start-up if it starts with system automatically, so we can stop Skype from starting automatically on Mac.

There are several ways for stopping Skype from starting automatically on Mac. In the following part, we will give you the guides of how to stop starting Skype automatically.

The first way

System Preferences –> System –> Accounts –> select your account –> select Login Items –> select Skype –> click the “-” box below to remove it from the list.
