iPhone 3GS Supply Problems

October 16, 2009 – 3:26 pmNo Comment

Sales of Apple’s iPhone 3GS has been hit by Supply Problems, with demand outstripping supply. Apple has suggested roughly 3.5 million phones were sold in the last quarter with three weeks remaining

Sony Ericsson moved only 14.1m phones in 3 months, a 45.1 percent drop from last summer. Nokia has posted a $1.36 Billion loss as sales fall 20%.

“Apple and R.I.M. are really starting to eat into Nokia’s lead in smartphones,” said Jan Dworsky, an analyst at Handelsbanken Capital Markets in Stockholm
