Apple Mac 26th Birthday

The Apple Mac is 26 years old as of the 24th Jan, on that day Steve Jobs showed a 128K Mac in front of a crowd of reporters, turned it on, and the Apple Mac was officially launched.

The Mac launch also brought the ’1984′ Super Bowl Mac ad, Apple identified the Macintosh with an ideology of “empowerment” – a vision of the PC as a tool for combating conformity and asserting individuality. making computers exciting rather than just tools.
