SSPI E-mail Forwarding for Mac OS X

System Support Products, Inc. has announced the availability of Release 5.0 of Mail Forward, the latest update to its best-selling, e-mail forwarding application for Mac OS X. Mail Forward is an award-winning application which allows the user to forward mail from AOL, Gmail, Hotmail, MSN, Netscape and Yahoo web mail accounts to any e-mail address. Standard POP and IMAP e-mail accounts, such as those supplied by local internet providers, can also be forwarded. A maximum of 20 different e-mail accounts can be tracked by the app, each with its own forwarding address.

Mail Forward works by accessing the user’s e-mail account Inbox, and forwarding each piece of mail through their SMTP mail server. Mail that is successfully forwarded can either be deleted from the forwarding account mailbox or left on the server. The forwarding account address is used as the return address for the forwarded mail, so if the mail is undeliverable it will be returned to the forwarding account.

Feature Highlights:
* Simple, easily controlled, automatic e-mail forwarding
* Runs in the background as a process
* Interval between automatic forwarding can be specified
* Universal binary for native execution on either Intel or PowerPC processors
* Release 5.0 offers improved speed and reliability
* Full support for AOL, Gmail, MSN, Hotmail, Netscape and Yahoo e-mail accounts
* Forwards e-mail from standard internet POP and IMAP e-mail accounts
* Support for forwarding to multiple recipient e-mail addresses

A built-in scheduling feature permits mail to be forwarded automatically at a specified time interval. A default forwarding address can be specified, simplifying initial set-up. Release 5.0 of Mail Forward is a complete re-write of the application, greatly enhancing its speed and reliability.

“With the growth of e-mail, there has also been a proliferation of e-mail addresses. It’s not uncommon for a single individual to have 2, 3 or more e-mail adresses,” observed Product Support Manager, Betty Forlini. “With Mail Forward you can consolidate all your incoming e-mail into a single, convenient account.”

System Requirements:
* Apple Macintosh OS X 10.4 or later
* Intel or PowerPC G4/G5 processor
* Windows version also available

Mail Forward for Mac OS X has been awarded a 4 out of 5 stars rating by About, a ChezMark “MacPick” (4 out of 5 apples), and a 4 out of 5 cows rating by Tucows Mac.

Pricing and Availability:
Mail Forward for Mac OS X is currently available for a one-time charge of $19.95 (USD). A 30-day free trial is available for download from the System Support Products, Inc. web site. Registered users of Mail Forward who have purchased within the past 6 months will be provided with the new release free of charge. Other registered users will be offered Release 5 for an upgrade charge of $10.
