Firefox Launching iPhone App

Submitted by on May 27, 2010 – 2:23 pmNo Comment

Mozilla has announced plans to launch a free iPhone Application that will allow access to most of Firefox browser data on the iPhone. Called Firefox Home, it is based on the Firefox Sync (formerly Weave Sync) technology and will give iPhone users instant access to their Firefox browsing history, bookmarks and the set of tabs from their most recent browser session.

It will not be a full iPhone browser.

No date for the release of Firefox Home has yet been set.
