Mac OS X 10.6.7 beta Released to Developers

Mac OS X 10.6.7 beta has been released to developers by Apple. The release is expected to contain security and bug fixes. Developers have reportedly been asked to focus on AirPort, Bonjour, SMB file sharing, and graphics drivers.

The 338.6MB download is being called Build 10J842. Apple says that there are no known issues with the beta in its release documentation.

Mac OS X 10.7 Lion, the next version of Mac OS X, is expected sometime this summer. Lion will bring features from iOS, including a home screen, full-screen applications and new multi-touch gestures, to the Mac platform.
