Apple HDTV Rumored

December 27, 2011 – 11:46 amNo Comment

Analytics company Jefferies & Company analysts are predicting the arrival of Apple HDTV in 2012, according to t3.com

“In terms of specs the analyst was unable to say anymore except that the screen would most likely be supplied by Sharp, it is unknown as to whether this will also feature 3D or what price-range Apple will be looking at, however if their displays are anything to go by, excpect it to be a premium priced product.

One of the more interesting comments made by the analyst however was that Apple’s HDTV would heavily rely on the technology that’s used in the iPhone 4S’s Siri, utilising the software to allow users to control the Apple TV simply by voice. This would directly then compete with technologies such as the Microsoft Kinect which already allows voice-control of the Xbox on a TV.”
