SpectorSoft Corporation launches eBlaster mac 2010 – the latest update to its best-selling remote monitoring software for the Mac platform. With this major upgrade, SpectorSoft expands the capability of parents or business owners to monitor their children or employees from a remote location.
In a related announcement, the company also launched its eBlaster 2010 Windows product with enhanced activity recorders for the latest versions of chat, instant messaging, email, and web-based mail services such as Yahoo mail and Google Gmail. It also features support for Windows 7 and ships with a complimentary year of Ultimate Care – the premier customer support program that provides round-the-clock technical support, free software upgrades for subscribers, and more.
eBlaster mac 2010 incorporates enhanced activity recorders, ensuring all Mac and Internet activity is captured, including support for the latest versions of chat and instant messaging, such as Yahoo Chat, Adium, MSN Chat, and AOL, and then forwards those chats to the employer or parent. The new version also records all email and web-based email services such as Apple Mail, Mozilla Thunderbird, Microsoft Entourage, and others, and instantly copies employers or parents on every email sent and received by the employee or child, ensuring inappropriate behavior or dangerous activity is revealed and addressed.
eBlaster mac 2010 also allows for blocking of any web site or person chosen by the employer or parent and scans for sensitive words or phrases. If those words or phrases are used in any email, chat, instant message, or in any other user activity, eBlaster mac 2010 immediate sends Keyword Alerts via email, notifying the recipient that danger has been detected.
The 2010 version of eBlaster mac is compatible with OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard and includes Ultimate Care, the premier customer support program in the industry today. Ultimate Care, included free with purchase, provides eBlaster users with one full year of complimentary updates and upgrades.
Ultimate Care also ensures eBlaster remains undetected by even the most sophisticated computer users because SpectorSoft’s exclusive Stealth Mode technology is also addressed by Ultimate Care updates, ensuring eBlaster is protected from everyone except those with authorized access.
“We are extremely proud that for almost a decade, eBlaster has been the de facto standard in monitoring and surveillance for employers and parents who need to supervise the online activity of their employees or children, but who are physically in a different location,” said SpectorSoft President C. Douglas Fowler. “SpectorSoft is dedicated to the constant enhancement of eBlaster to ensure our customers – wherever they may be – remain capable of capturing every activity that occurs on a Mac.”
With eBlaster, parents and employers can be virtually anywhere and still monitor the computer activity of their children and employees. eBlaster begins by automatically recording emails, chats, instant messages, web sites visited, programs run, keystrokes typed and much more! eBlaster then creates a complete, yet concise Activity Report that is sent directly to any chosen email address – including smartphones – as often as desired. Additionally, eBlaster is the only remote monitoring software capable of instantly forwarding a copy of all emails, chats, and instant messages to the selected email address.

eBlaster mac 2010 is priced at $99.95 (USD) and supports all versions of Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard, Mac OS X v10.5 Leopard, and Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger.
